By ourselves it seems like we can barely do anything, but as a collective we have the potential to be become even greater than the gods themselves. Think about it. Once we started to work together to build communities and cities, the exchange and advancement of ideas and technology made us the dominate species on the planet.
As a collective, we humans have the potential to rival the gods. The internet is evidence of that. Ever wonder why web 2.0 websites are so successful? (Digg, you tube, wikipedia) It's because of the accumulation of knowledge and data make these websites much more effective and useful then other sources.
Once we stop fighting together and start working together, we'll be able to do just about anything. (Yesh, classic hippy comment)

Medical Industry a Detriment to Human Evolution?
Though this idea is morally wrong,(Imo) I cannot help but think this. According to how natural selection and evolution works, species evolve by defective or less adaptive genes dieing off and genes that increase the chances for the species to survive live on...
Medical facilities artificially let people with genetic diseases survive and reproduce.. In turn the world gene pool continuously fills up with defective genes. This could be called devolution.
The solution would be (though very nazi like D=) to castrate everyone with genetic related diseases. The other possibility (Which is much more optimistic) is that we developed genetic engineering to the point in which we can alter and fix human DNA sequences.

Everyone Lives in their own False Reality
One must first define reality to determine if it's false or not. What is Reality?
According to Dictionary.com
re·al·i·ty /riˈælɪti/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ree-al-i-tee] –noun, plural -ties for 3, 5–7.
1. The state or quality of being real. 2. Resemblance to what is real. 3. A real thing or fact.
But how can one be certain things are real? The mind is a powerful delusional tool and people view things in many ways. When a person gives testimony to a detective and another person gives their testimony that denies the one before it, both of them cannot be right. The human mind can't remember things exactly the way it was.
Views and perception come into play. How you perceive things will often change your memory and the very reality you live in. With enough convincing of the mind, one could think that anything is possible. Delusions are the breaking down of things in the environment to perceive things in a more manageable way of the environment.
The human mind can’t analyze everything unemotionally and without bias like how computers can. As a result, we see everything with tinted glasses. As a result, misunderstandings take place and wars are fought. D=
While there are many more ideas related to this that can be talked about, they will probably be addressed in the future. (Like religion for example)

Blaming the Media : Music
Ah, yes the media. The media, in my opinion, is to blame for many of our problems in today's society. But since the media is a very general term, I'll start with the type that is most common with teenagers.
Music isn't like how it used to be. It's churned out constantly by corporations and is heavily processed in post production.(The Paris Hilton Album, if you can even call that music. D=)
Post production does amazing thing nowadays. They can make people look absolutely beautiful, (Photoshop and using the correct lighting is important ^^) and they make people sound simply amazing. (though...I have no idea how they do that. Someone enlighten me.)
I have very little experience in other types music so the only thing I can draw comparisons is in rap music. The unconditional hatred of rap music today by many people is understandable. Many of the verses rappers use are barely comprehensible.
For Example,
"Verse number 2 do the damn thang keeps on my neck pocket's full of Ben Franks."
-Yung Joc, "It's Goin' Down."
New rappers saying absolutely nothing.
"I bomb atomically, Socrates' philosophies and hypotheses can't define how I be dropping these mockeries, lyrically performed armed robbery, flee with the lottery, possibly they spotted me"
- Inspecta Deck (Wu Tang) "Triumph"
Obviously, old school rappers have far more artistic merit than what's coming out today.
Now for the underground.
"Using numerology to count the people I sent to Heaven
Produces more digits than 22 divided by 7"
- Immortal Technique "Unknown Track"
It's true that rap music barely sends a message but I'm not going to debate the validity of the music. Immortal Technique is what one could call a political rapper. He's by far one of the best underground artists out there.
Anyways, like I said before, I don't know much about any other type of music but if you are willing to take your time to contact me and discuss music with me. Maybe I'll open my tastes a bit. ^^ (I need someone to examine all the other musical genres for me)
Anyways, what music is doing to today's generation is saying that money, cars, women and how tough and thuggish you can be is more important than being intelligent and being a decent person.

Why don't people care about politics?
Politics it controls many functions of your life but some people simply refuse to care or even think about politics.
Is it just me or it's extremely silly not to care about something that controls your privacy, taxes, public transportation, protection, public services and who's policy would possibly control your very future.
Sure, political systems nowadays are morally corrupt as can be but that's even more reason to voice your opinion. (Talking to you anime crowd >_>)
Are you guys too busy with your everyday problems that you cannot be bothered to think about politics? Choosing to forget that the problem is even there...That's called Ignorance.

Reading
It's discouraging that many of today's youth simply refuse to read. Though I am a youth, I do like to read. But when I talked to my friend the other day, I realized what a sorry state we are in.
My friend is the stereotype of what many would call a "gangsta." He's a pretty cool person and all, Likes video games, plays basketball, watches whatever anime I would force on him. =D
The conversation went like this,
(Censoring part of my friend's name for his privacy)
dope boi ****: sup wit chu?
Insane Choaz: reading a bit
Insane Choaz: looking around the internet
dope boi ****: readin
dope boi ****: wat da f***
dope boi ****: no...............
dope boi ****: no................
(At this point I was a little surprised, hoping this was a joke I said-)
Insane Choaz: yo?
dope boi ****: i dont think u should read it makes u think
Insane Choaz: How so?
dope boi ****: it makes ya head hurt
(I was disturbed how my friend could think this way. So I made up an excuse to get away from him)
Insane Chaoz: I gotta go eat dinner
dope boi ****: iight
It's sad how society is starting to think that reading is now a bad thing. But it's even worse that now thinking is something that isn't valued anymore. This is what our future, a society of people who no longer values knowledge but opposite. It values ignorance.

Questioning The Insane
Why philosophize with the insane? The insane often have more insight than it may seem.
If one was to define being insane as "Thinking or acting in a way that in which would be described as irrational by the general population," then being insane doesn't seem to be so bad.
I would call myself insane, wouldn't you? Who cares about thinking along with the general population? Being an individual is a thing that is embraced by many of us. Though actually being a individual is a completely different subject.
